Addressed "dear brother"; the writer curses the mother of A‘zam al-Muluk, who caused some annoyance between them; announces that because of this, he divorced his wife eight months ago; mentions coming to Tabriz with Afkham Khan and his mother; sends greetings to the mother, Dr. Taqi Khan, and the sisters; at the end, he asks the addressee to register the ownership of the house before it becomes mandatory to avoid extra expenses and higher costs and to put the writer's share under Afkham Khan's name; signed Saduqi.

The author [possibly Zahra Sultan ‘Izzat al-Saltanah] conveys family news: Mahmud Khan and Ma‘sumah Khanum both have a cold and Aqa [Nizam al-Saltanah] is preparing for his trip to Kirman. She talks about Salar Muhtasham's telegrams from Tabriz and the unrest there. ‘Izzat al-Saltanah describes the renovations in the Baha’ al-Mulk's garden. On the opposite page there is a note in a different handwriting about choosing a place, probably for vacation.

Riza Quli Khan Nizam al-Saltanah writes to his daughter, Zahra Sultan ‘Izzat al-Saltanah, telling her about his having been ill for the past six months, his current recuperation and regained ability to walk, and that his doctor has told him that he can soon return to Iran.
